New guild with trial.

Guild trials have helped to keep the TFC skillz community alive for so long. I decided since nobody has made any for FF (i say that without actually checking.. at least i haven't heard of any) that i would create one that some of you may enjoy the challenge of beating.

This guild type is basically a jack of all trades. I'll adjust the challenges periodically, maybe, depending on how many trial/join.

You must send a PM to inform me that you are trialing before starting to record demos. I can be found in #ff.pickup on quakenet. The guild is called piriform, yeah.. i don't know what the hell to call it so thats what it is, tag ^pf. The trial is designed not to be overly challenging but to assess different areas of gameplay to a reasonable standard.

Part A skillz - To be completed online or in a lan. State in the demos "trial for piriform"

The demos for speed2 take forever to load. Couldn't be bothered to check them... Hopefully everything is there and I'll probably remove this from the trial due to the ridiculously slow demo loading.



Part B CTF - To be completed through irc 4v4 pickups on CTF maps only with a standard match time of 15 mins. US (gamesurge) or EU (Quakenet) pickups in #ff.pickup only. You do not have to state "trial for xxx" during part B but i'll only accept demos created after 10/03/2011.

Simply win an organized 2v2 game on any map and submit your offense demo.

or

submit a demo of you scoring 3 homeruns in 1 round on siden, monkey, destroy, schtop or sd2 in a standard 4v4 pickup.

You can skip one challenge from part B and the demoman challenge from part A by completing concmap_exist as quad demoman (no grens) and quad soldier (no grens) on the quad red team only.

I will only accept all demos together. Please stop and start demos to show only successful attempts of each jump individually (there are three jumps on exist so there should be 3 demos). A simple way is to set up a bind for each jump to start and stop recording, just be careful not to overwrite the previous demo.

Anybody can join this guild. Please note that the difficulty of part B will be increased after the release of the next patch. I won't bother making an IRC channel but i'll setup a steam group at some point. GL and HF with it, thats basically the point.
