Question TFC vs FF

Can we make this a flame-less thread?

Here is the idea of the thread. List what you like about TFC that FF doesn't have and/or what FF has that TFC doesnt.

Notice how I said 'like'.... noone cares what you dont like or what you hate or about the communities or the ages of the game. Lets talk about actual gameplay elements that you LIKE about these games that the other doesn't have.

I know it's going to be hard, but just post once and let it go... no flames, we're obviously going to disagree - but let's just see what everyone thinks. Thanks

Teleporters

loved them in TFC, they were soo much fun to try and setup exits in outrageous locations.

And since pubbers in TFC and FF rarely play what we would call a "proper" game, it's just another way to have fun in pubs.

Bouncing rail gun - it's fun to try to make trick shots and actually kill people with it.

Nostalgia. That's what TFC has going for it, in my mind. The 6 years of strong memories and friends I made didn't make the transition.

FF players don't really flame TFC. Did you mean TF2?

I think he meant flaming each other for having an opinion.

The best thing Teleporters were used for, aside from Offense, was/is a warning system for choke points. Properly placed, it could warn you(the engy) which way an enemy is coming in. Either by their proximity to it, or by them destroying it.

tf2 players don't even flame tfc, now sure they might say tf2 is better than tfc the graphics, the extra weapons, the class definition, free updates id have to say it is. however the new style of game-play is what you question. and why you hate it with a passion. or at least seem to... bring up tf2 on a server and the whole server goes nutz, why i don't know. just because you don't like tf2 game play doesn't mean its not a respectable game, certainly a fortress game just went in different direction than you had originally planed. doesnt mean you have to like the game but as much as you hate it, surprises almost. its all in the name of the game.

I meant FF players flaming TF2. Not the other way around, but then again I have been in plenty of FF games with TF2 fags flaming FF then dropping out like little faglets.

How did you interpret that I hate TF2 based on that little sentence? I love TF2. TF2 kind of sucks for new players but once you get a few items it gets fun as shit. Maybe I'll see you on a server some day when (if) I start playing again. I had to stop because between FF and TF2 it was fucking with my real life.
