Map Contest 1.5K in total to win.

First of all: I lost my former details and e-mail adress. I am about to keep this dry and simple and give it one more shot:

Map contest, 1.5K to win.

The prize money will be divided in:
a contest where a TFC map needs a remake, suited for FF
a contest where a map is dedicated to AVD a la Ksour
a contest where a map is dedicated to a 4V4 (Prop, Resolve, idc, something)
a contest where a map is dedicated for a 2V2 or 3V3
a bonus where prize money goes to originality, funny details to the map

Prize money will be divided like this:

Remake /TFC: 200$
AVD map: 500$
4V4 map: 500$
2V2/3V3: 200$
bonus: 100$

I need at least 6 contenders, that will indicate they will be participating in at least 2 contests. When you want to participate: mention here and tell me which categories you are about to contend.

Timing, date and deadlines will be set when there are enough contenders.

Maps will be played out on pub serv or pickup server, to gain input. Voting / polls will be made here to see who will gets the most votes per map.

Good idea

I would love to participate.
But I can only enter 1 category as I would rather spend more time on one map and make it better quality.

Personally I would need maybe 6-8 weeks, due to preferring to map for the enjoyment when the mood takes me.

Put me down for the 4v4

Not keen on votes as people may make or use old accounts to cast votes.
Maybe you should be the judge and jury but have votes anyway out of interest.

Sign me up for the remake category.

For voting, you could just make a voting thread where each person has to have a certain number of posts in order for their vote to count. There is an option when setting up the poll where you can see who voted for what.

FF could use a new skillz map, tbh. With some sharking, escape type elements as well.

voting could be done by PM where we PM wubba our vote. but theres a high probability this isnt even Wubba

PM prevents from people getting mad at their friends for not voting for them, or feeling obligated to vote for their friend's map. adds anonymity without making it totally anonymous where the vote loses integrity.
