No, seems like it was just a weird bug. Look at Dexter's post again. It simultaneously said "you are 45% of the way to top 100" and in a different place it said "this item is in the top 100." The latter no longer shows up, and we are currently at ~50% to the top 100.

Alright, thanks for the clarification.

I have talked to some people about this from other games, and unfortunately those who played in the past often say that they left with a bad taste in their mouth (the community).
