Felt like porting this TFC colab project of ours to FF.
So thats what I did. Added to 85.114.130.78:27015 Euroskillz FF 2.4 We tried sparking some life into our small community by having speed mapping events. Was fun, but to few showed any interest. Whish just a few more would have participated and we could have continued. I can really recommend it. You learn a lot by watching other mappers work, and concmaps and quad maps are perfect for it as each submission is separate parts (if you use teles between jumps ofc). Nothing ground breaking. Just a medium hard quad map. Quote:

I did a few speed maps, but they were CTF. Made them in 10-20 mins while waiting for people to add to a pickup. When we had enough people to play we would play whatever i had finished. it was fun, i thought about making like 10 or so then releasing a vmf pack. Then other people could take it and add on to the ones they liked for a more detailed map.

Hammer can cause total blackouts if you sit and think to much. Speed mapping with a deadline can loose some of those knots up. Passing a map on is a nice idea, but I liked these speedy sundays even better. We also had a rule that said "submission order is jump order". So first one to deliver will have his jump first. Anyway! Thanks for comments .

I agree, i was sitting there thinking about making stuff instead of actually doing it. So i wanted to try to do better with that and just make stuff without thinking about it, getting quick ideas as i go along.

Yea I know squeek, I should have spent more time getting them better. Tried differant angles and speeds and nothing seemed to work smooth. First jump use just a few quite big brushes as pushes. span's jump a better shaped brush, but it doesnt work very well either. More trial and error needed.

I just can't see whats happening just before you hit last pipe. Looks like youre going to hit the edge, but you don't. But you slow down there. But no nade? No skim? Should work in TFC to I suppose even though I watched a very good piper try for ages and fail. p.s. Precision maps has been the latest fashion in TFC skills. I jumped up and put a grellow pipe on the second step down before doing the run shown. I probably should have included that in the video. You can see the pipe sitting there if you watch it in HD.

U need to fix the .res file, it doesnt includes the .txt file or the quad vgui, after erasing ff 2 days ago, i dled the map trought server again and i had a pink and black thing instead of the quad icon : )
Its fixed in my server, but other server owners will get it bugged, if a dude doesnt have already the quad vgui thing.
