New in FF Forum and Game questions.

Hello i am new in the FF Forum and i love FF because i cant play TF2 now...
i have alot of questions about the game.

1)I Downloaded the game and installed the half life 2 deathmatch but it dont works in internet by steam.

What versions of half life 2 i need for work and play it in internet?

2) About bots. i Cant play in internet so i wanna ask if we can use bots for play in the game.

We can play bots? and if is YES, What are the commands?

3)Some friends dont have steam or the half life 2. So..

This game, can play it in No-steam?

4)Sometimes the game dont have textures like. Purple and black squares or invisible objects.

If Is the half life 2, what half life 2 have all the textures for the FF? or i must download a pack of textures?

These are all the questions. Why so many? reason: i had other account but i never recive the mail of activation

You need to have Source SDK Base (located in the Tools section of Steam). Here is a list of games that will give you access to it.

There are no bots for Fortress Forever currently.

Check that you have Source SDK Base installed.

Are you on OS X 1.5.x / 1.6.x?

(If you are wondering why I asked this, because there are work arounds to get stuff working on OS X Steam)

Would that kind of workaround be running under Wine or something different? I am interested to know.

ok. i had installed the source sdk base. i installed the HL2DM and the HL2 but it didnt worked.
