Hello,

I'm looking for individuals who can provide the following:

10 Second video advertisement for FF
30 Second extended video advertisement

Album Cover GFX Design:
Something like what's seen here.. http://www.twitch.tv/directory

YouTube Background (Ricey)
Facebook Profile Picture (Ricey)
Facebook Info Image [yet to be setup] (Ricey)

We need to give sites media to link back to us. We also need an archive of banner ads I can use for marketing.

A set of banner advertisements is definitely required.

Lets start with the most important ones, and add additional ones later. We should also have a section on the main page where these are accessible.

First to do:
Leaderboard
Half Banner
Sky Scraper
Medium & Large rectangle

Followed by the remainders at a lower priority.

I enjoy making videos and my picture quality has been getting better for FF recording. But i've never really made anything advertisement wise. And i'm kinda at a los for what to put in a 10 to 30 sec add to try and "sell the game". Any ideas would be great, as i'd love to do something like this.

Something that highlights all classes, shows what sets them apart from other classes. I wouldn't mind seeing a team effort of trying to capture a flag, then somehow tying each class' strength's/weaknesses.

An advert has to tell a story. It can't just say DL FF TODAY. It has to be COOL, else nobody will fucking watch the video.

Oh, also has to have good music. When you decide to make the advert, it's not that difficult to sync music to video the way you want. If you get a chance, you should test more than one song during parts of the video to hear what sounds better if you are watching this for the first time?

If this is serious, we need to leave a lasting first impression on new players.

We won't get all classes in a 30 second video. Perhaps we should have 5-10 ads made, all show casing different elements, classes, maps, movements, buildables ect.

We should do some research and watch trailers for other highly successful games, ie battkefield, COD, ect. What captivated you? Why? How was it done? What shots/angles were used? Music type, how much game play / weaponry was actually displayed?

You know good idea. I'm with some family now. But tonight i'll watch some ads and think about a class specific videos.

I don't FF much anymore, but I work as a full time designer and can help with the GFX cover and banner ads. I was actually tempted to propose a "new look" to FF, maybe we can start something here.

Agreed. Something a little shorter and to the point than the last one. Although done well, most would not watch it through to the end.
