Haven't noticed any new ones in a while. I'm a sucker for FF and TFC vids. Any recent releases?

Lateroonie put out a video last year, and it's probly the best video quality I've ever seen in a tfc video:

There's just something crazy about how smooth it looks in certain places. Guy records at something like 44 fps, because he is a weirdo, and also because that is apparently a popular thing in quake avi making.

OZ Fortress saw a resurgence of league play in recent years which has lead to a fair amount of avis like the tfc4eva one neon posted. Just look through MrTFCVids upload page and most of the new videos are OZF:

I have a lot of clips saved up from different people to put towards the next community avi. I'm just sort of waiting for the last particular puzzle piece to fall into place.

Edit: Also watching OZ avis is crazy because I think every time I watch one I see a map I've never seen before.

I made this while playing on Drippy-'s last week..... I cut the clip down(although, the long version IS on my channel) to just where I got kills. I was hidden in the enemy basement for over 20 minutes.

As soon as I can afford the full version, I'm going to get it. It's pretty easy to use, and I can't remember what editor I used to make the original ff_2fort teaser clip.

I'm pretty sure there's some free recording software out there you could use that doesn't have a watermark.

You could probably ask here and find someone who knows. FDA, Neon, Squeek, or Moto might know of one. Unless you're set on that one. I don't really know much about them.

For recording, I like OBS, and for editing I recommend Adobe Premier.

I really don't remember which one I had used to make the ff_2fort teaser. That one was pretty nice, and I believe it was free. But.... going through hundreds of pages looking for the thread..... No. Sorry. Not happening. I tried searching, but couldn't narrow the fields down enough.

If anyone has any suggestions, though... I'm more than willing to listen.

We are just broke as fuck right now.

Also you don't have to stop short with just FF or TFC.

You could always check out avis from the quake side of fortress. (inferior as the sub-genre may be)

There's a handful of other ETF videos that are pretty cool too. You could likely find them in the videos youtube suggests on Unyieldings watch page, or by searching for enemy territory fortress.

Or you could go hella old school and watch some videos from the actual birth of the TF genre:

(god the quake genre of TF is goofy enough, but in some ways qwtf is exceptionally goofy)

(also did tf done extreme 2, like, conceptualize the whole "commentator voice-over in the middle of an avi" thing? Because that's kind of a thing people do now. So goofy.)

Maybe if you searched hard enough you could find some other obscure TF montages, like Q3TF and shit. I've seen some weird ass TF related shit. Unreal fortress? Was that real, or a fever dream?
