To those of you who never played hl1 (lolwtfrly?). If you decide that the graphics are too dated to play through there is a mod called Half-Life Gold that basically is the same exact game but with updated models and textures, making it ALMOST a Half-Life source (I heard the actual Half-Life source sucked pretty bad though.) There are also model and texture packs you can dl for Opposing Force and Blue Shift if you decide you want the whole experience. Hats off to Half-Life Gold creator Crowbar. It is an excellent graphical update with the same experience as HL.
