I think it depends on a lot of things: state laws, number of previous offenses, severity of incident, etc...

Usually, the driver's license is suspended for a period of time and a DUI charge is on their records (for employment and other applications) for a set amount of years.

We are too lenient on our criminals in this country. This Gibbs guy is a total fucking piece of shit. RedNeck's family should legit hire someone to assassinate him.

Makes me so sick to my stomach that this hillbilly ignorant piece of shit got to walk because he had a better lawyer than RedNeck's family had.

I'll say it here and now. If I ever get so drunk that I decide to drive my car at 150mph and I kill another person, I'll request the death penalty or kill myself.
