just about a year ago i ran across a mod call master sword continued ... i thought it was a hl2 mod at first then i checked it out anyways, i was stunned that somebody could actually program a full fledge RPG game in hl1 i was shocked when i created a charactor and gained a few levels and left , to not only find out the next day when i came back and joined a totaly diffent server that i still had my charactor with everything i had when i left .. i found out that all of the hosted servers were connected to a main charactor save server so every other few seconds it was saving everything i did so when i came back and joined or even joined a totaly different server i could still have all my stats and items... i plaied it like it was crack for a good long long time...

I think it was mentioned earilier in the thread but The Specialists was pretty decent.

I remember a mod on the CS Retail CD where it was like cowboys vs indians or something like that. It was pretty decent but very rarely played anywhere.

I thought that wasn't out yet? Someone had a link to it earlier in this thread, so check back a page or three.

You can already play some levels but it's not complete yet.
