Ok...seriously what the hell? I was updating the FF Community Map Pack 2 thread, and some of you mappers seriously need to stop making new maps and finish the one's you started already!!

I have complied a list of the top beta offenders. I vote that every member of the forum pm the following people DAILY until they finish the maps they have in beta right now.

1. gnaa - Last Activity: 07-25-2009 12:44 PM - with a total of four(4), beta maps floating out there and NOT A SINGLE FINISHED RELEASE gnaa wins the thread. :cry::cry:

And what's worse...is it's not like these maps are recent either;

• The most recent map is: ff_gnaaalchimy_a3 (last updated 06-18-2009)
• The next most recent map is over 5 months old: ff_nyx (last updated 03-30-2009)
• With ff_schrape_b3 ( last updated 03-20-2009) and ff_sonic_b2 (last updated 03-04-2009) within weeks of ff_nyx
  And then it just gets sad
• ff_sniperz_b1 (last updated 01-12-2009)
• ff_chimkeyz_b5 (last updated 12-23-2008.)
• Then gnaa has a few from October and November of LAST YEAR; ff_mortality_gz_b1 (last updated 11-15-2008.), ff_hellion_classic_b1 (last updated 10-31-2008.), and finally ff_phantom_classic_b2 (last updated 10-17-2008.)
• and after that...come Monday every other map (7 of them) is over a year old!

Now I could totally understand if these were WIP() maps that had never been release, or if the beta's hadn't been out forever. But seriously the purpose of a beta is to be tested and then eventually converted to a final release. Not just left in beta land to collect dust and be forgotten.

So come on guys...get these maps outta beta and release a final already. Or at the very least a new beta, although if you haven't already I can't see what could possible still be wrong.

I currently have ff_gnaaalchimy_a3, major problems within the map. Main problem with the map, is that it wrapped in a skybox, mainly because there are soo many leaks in the map.

Hopefully today I'll load it up and start fixing it up.

i don't have time or interest to release final versions of maps nobody will play anyway, lol.

I gonna finish ff_chimkeyz_b5 and rename to ff_chimkey_classic cuse its a port.
I gonna finish ff_sniperz_b1 too.
About ff halo and ff_bounce i wont finish them cuse they arent played and cuse i would have to redo all map geometry :\

ps * Plz dont include trimp_redz and trimp_bluez cuse i gonna do some small alterations on them and recall to djump.

Just to add to my op, if your not planning on finishing ever then at the very least, update your threads so that people aren't watching for something that is never going to happen. Never woulda even had this thread if you guys had all updated your own threads explaining that your never planning on finishing your maps.

On that note, I bumped R00ki3's and zE's map threads with a quote of your responses in this thread for future reference.
