Why the HWGuy sucks.

Don't believe me? Load up both games and check it out.

If you're too much of a dumbass to figure it out - FF's HWG requires pinpoint accuracy if a scout is hugging you. It's damn near impossible to hold a bead on someone. At long range, the cone is too large to hit any shots. Regardless of range you're fucked.

i think thats the reletive idea though to make it so its only effective at close and medium range however i agree should prob be fixed even if not as acurate as tfc.

Conc aiming in FF with an AC is a lot easier than it was in TFC, at least for me.

It's even more than that. I'm not sure if each individual shot does more or less damage, but regardless, TFC's AC acted more like a rapid-fire continuous shotgun. Each "round" would spatter shots in a random array at the enemy, allowing great covering and stopping power. FF's is more like a machinegun, so you have more spread AND less coverage if you follow me.

EDIT:

I made a quick picture to illustrate:

Looks like boobies with acne.

On topic- I see what you mean, and yeah, something should be done about it.

Aren't you supposed to switch to the super shotgun if the scout is hugging you?

No. It's a fucking mini-gun. It's supposed to have something called bullet spread that makes it deadly at close range. It's counter-intuitive and stupid having to switch to your shotgun at close range. What next? Forced to use the nailgun at long range instead of the sniper rifle?

Actually, you're wrong.

Tracers and decals are also not always shown for performance reasons.

Also, the bullet spread is normalised towards the center of the cone, rather than linearly randomised across it, so just because you see the odd bullet missing wildly, that doesnt mean most bullets are.

I think that due to the slower pace of tfc Hw felt stronger, but in ff its 10 times easier to aim while conced.

Easily. This discussion is making no mention of damage, which is certainly higher in TFC.
