The Mystery Envelope

I know this was displayed on a previous thread but I don't have the motivation to dig it up.

It's down to the wire. 2 hours left until the Mystery Envelope is bought.

It's up to $7,400.00 US at the time of this post.

My prediction is that there will be a bidding frenzy right near the end, I'm staying up to see this one

Have fun.

It's an internet casino, apparently they bought it just for having more publicity. I think they'll pay.

Didn't they buy some other bizarre things a while ago too?

Seems like a nice publicity stunt. Who's to say the actual seller isn't an employee or even director, so the money will just return

Good dammit who in their right state of mind would offer 7,400 dollars for something that could be utterly pointless and even more useless. Probably nudepictures of the seller...

I can tell you one thing whatever's in that envelope it's not worth more then 10$, no way.

And most likely it's a publicity stunt staged by Golden Palace no matter what the last bid would have been they'd make sure they made the final bid, that's probably why it went from 7,400$ to 7,600$ just to be sure the'd get it.

Money is recirculated and they get publicity. Lousy yet effective technic

Not sure about the publicity stunt business (as it's a reasonable thing to believe in any of these "odd" auction cases), but the highest bid was at $7500 before the winning one, and went up to $7600 in the last twenty or so seconds.

So you don't know how to spell though, but you write tho. I don't buy it. The point I'm making is put in the extra 10 seconds to get your spelling right, it helps make you look like an intelligent person.
