Merry Christmas

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them; and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Since "God" is the "king of kings", don't ALL bibles have the approval of a king?

Not with all the fiddling people have done to the text in the last 2000 years, seriously the catholic church fiddled with it quite a lot hundreds of years ago.

The song of songs, which is Solomon's.
Let him kiss me withg the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine.
Because of the Savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured fourth, therefore do the virgins love thee.
Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.

Merry X-mas.

Oh, and thanks, Scuzzy, for providing the Fortress Forever Test Server. Very wicked setup, thoroughly enjoyed checking out badlands tbh.

There is really no such thing as an Athiest. The people who claim to be "Athiest" are just confused, really. Try being in a war... Watch how somebody dies. When you have a man who claims to be "athiest" dying in your arms from being shot. After he realizes that is life is over. He prays to god... I know, because i've had several die in my arms. Being a combat medic is hard... But, it has it's advantages. Reguardless what you believe in. It should be something.

As Dane Cook says... When you die you'll come back to this earth as a big tree, Hanging out as trees do. Until a big fat sweaty lumberjack comes into your forrest. He cuts your ass down, takes you through a sawmill. Grinds you down into paper... Then we print the Bible on you.

Happy X-mas Guys... I hope you get this game done soon. So when I come home from this hell hole. I can play w/ ya.

I've actually gotten in some pretty good debates with people who believe they are athiest... most of them don't realize the true meaning of the word and are unwilling to embrace it to it's logical conclusion.

Rinsewind: np man, glad you like the server.

Are you in Iraq Detox? We have a couple of clan members that have done several tour of duties over there, luckily they've all come back safe. If you are there, make it back safe, and thanks for all you do.

A Merry Christmas thread turns into a religion debate. What a surprise.

Death is easier to swallow if you think you're going to something better afterwards, especially after a painful one. The fact is, you haven't had every single atheist die in your arms, so you can't write all of them off.
I guess we'll know in the afterlife, claiming to know right now is a bit silly.
