How much would it cost for 2 GB of purely static RAM? My Comm Sci teacher was doing a lesson on RAM and he mentioned that static RAM was much better than dynamic RAM because it doesnt need refreshing. Since i have plans for buying a new PC soon does anyone know how much something like this would cost?

Just gotta love it when people who aren't in the real world talk about things like this. Actually, SRAM isn't even made for motherboards so the simple answer to your question is don't even give it a moment's thought because SRAM isn't even avaialable as an option.
