Surfing
Will surfing be available in FF like it is in CS:S, I love CS:S surf maps and I think FF surf maps would also be super fun.

I suppose it would. It is all to do with the physics and as they are trying to replicate systems like TFC and Quake, it should make this possible as you can already surf in TFC.
Everyone should try this map: tehsurf_r (for TFC) |

Wait, you can surf? Like skate across the water and not sink? Sounds sort of like skiing to me though. Do you get a board, maybe a door since there are no surfboards in HL2?

LOL Lum, nope, I've really never seen surfing in HL2. I know you can stand on floating objects that move, so I figured it was like running, jumping on a board or some shit and sliding across the surface of the water.

surfing = using ramps and slopes to gain momentum etc.
skimming = holding jump whilst going through water letting you glide across the surface I dont see why they both shouldnt be possible |
