FF melee weapons.

Will Fortress Forever use melee weapons as crowbars? or anything else besides that.

Wait, are you asking if there will be melee weapons at all, or are you asking if the melee weapons will be crowbars?

If the former... yes. There will be melee weapons.

If the latter... probably. I doubt they'd change it back to the axe or to something else. They might but it seems unlikely.

The Dildo was funny seeing for the first time, but I'd never use it.
Yes the team coloured crowbar were more to my taste.
But actually i preferred the default crowbar. It had a lighter feel to it, which i liked for some reason, even though it just looked like a piece of metal with a bend at the end.

We're going with the HL2 crowbar for now (although all the animations have been rebuilt).

Personally I'd liked to have seen an axe or somethnig instead, but that'd take time and push back the release a bit (oh noes!). Besides, it's overall a fairly minor weapon and re-doing it was a bit superfluous when we had a melee weapon available which both fits and is 'good enough' for what we need.

So crowbar for now, maybe something new depending on how the schedule works out.

Sounds good. I think a axe it a bit of a heavy weapon considering it's only supposed to take off little health. The classic crowbar suits best anything else just seems to random.
But i don't mind really.

Nothing is better than using the "bioaxe" in qwtf and healing teammates by smacking them with a different colored axe.

Hehe, one of the original sketch ideas for the medikit was a 'bioaxe' with needles sticking out of it. :)
