I've read too many of these "I've had such and such with valve and we talked about half-life" stories to really believe any of them these days.

I know valve is making a TF:Sorce because it's a good business decision and it will make them money. Not to mention they enjoy making fun games and no doubt have plans to do something with tf.

However, I wont really believe any details until valve is the one that says them.

Also I dont' care about rumours and such.

I don't know if they will make a FF:S or a FF2 but eather way I think there is probably one coming. I'm not 100% sure but there has to be SOME REASION why FF is blacklisted...

well look what happened to that 3rd party DoD mod: they blacklisted it in the forums, then brought out DoD:S

i see a pattern here....

The third-party DoD mod that got blacklisted was a mod to DoD:S. They basically made the fixes everyone was clamoring for and tried to make it more competition-friendly.

As for this... eh.

I think it has more to do with the fact they reverse engineered code which is against the EULA and very naughty.

If it takes Valve as long to do TFC:S as it took them to do DoD:S, the FF team has nothing to worry about. Either way, FF will be quite different from whatever Valve cooks up. I hope they're both great.

Well if they are making tf:s im looking foward to playing it. Ofcourse i fear the possible competition but hopefully FF and TFC:S would be so different that it wouldnt matter.

Guess only time will tell if valve is making it and if its something very similar to what we are doing.

FF is allowed on the Steam forums again. Also, Valve has nothing to do with the Steam forums.

I'll believe this when I own a copy of TFC:S/TF2. Otherwise, it's just random people stirring up the shit pot.

Haha yeah sorry, what i ment was that theres a chance that TFC:S would be more like what TF2 was supposed to be, and IF it turns out like something similar to the last bits of information and media we saw of tf2 i think FF and TFC:S would be different.

If it is just what the name states, a tfc source, theres a big chance that it would be very similar :P
