TF2
Will it ever come out ? heh , Their pulling another "HL2" i think , they said "We're going to announce it after we release half-life 2..."
I am still waiting. CS:S is fun ya.... but TF was my game for 6 years. |

But TF2 at least if it's the TF2: Brotherhood of Arms wich Valve was developing for HL1 but which was then scraped or at least put on hold to now being developed for HL2. Then you have to realize that it was never intended for it to be anything like TFC.
This was from what I gathered a game closer to CS gameplay then TFC. FF will probably be much much closer to TFC gameplay from whatever mod Valve will/ or will not release further on. Site of the old HL1 version of TF2: http://teamfortress2.sierra.com/ |

I have zero enthusiasm for TF2
From all I've come across it may as well be called CS2 |

IMO I don't think it will be as realistic as the 5 year old screenshots and info we have suggest. Back when that info came out there was no MoA, CoD, BF1942, and other games of the like. I envision TF2 being a little more futuristic than before, but still nothing like TF/C (again, this is only my best guess).

I imagine TF2 as being a cross between Firearms and CS.
Which sucks. |

I never liked CS simply cause 1 shot your dead and sit there waiting for the other 17-# of people to decide the map. That shit got soo boring. Cs might have been a lil more fun with an active respawn timer or a timer til waves, but you combine a cs camper and a large server and the last 2 guys on it, and 1 camping and the other hunting, it gets dull for others.

We really know nothing about what valve has planned for TF2, seeing as they made an entire engine switch. But I think they might steer it away from its Quake I roots, which is why I have enthusiasm for Fortress Forever.
