Missing Maps and Server Not Listed
First off, I am a nub to this FF server stuff, so please bare with me,
1.) I'm having trouble with custom maps. Looks like the maps are downloading from the server but right before we join we get error message: "map missing *map name*.bsp". Map does work tho if we manually place in folders. 2.) My server is not listing in Steam, it is Private server but would be easier for players I invite to find it. Please let me know if there is anything else you guys recommend I change/tweak. Not really sure how this server stuff works, but I would recommend talking to Moto (KubeDawg on the forums) about some of the maps that he "fixed" for his server.

Figured out question #1. add net_maxfilesize 64 to server.cfg!

There's your answer to the it wont show up in your serverlist. But somehow it then tells me I cant join because the version is out of date :/ |
