I think so.. that would be the topografical layout of the map.. but the "Other bases" yellow and green would only be if someone joined that team or if the server had it.. and it would light up once they joined the team (IE empty yellow team = empty base thats neutral colored lighting).. all the bases are slightly color coded by lighting... and the middle ground would be the dark area on the image.. or maybe... im on crack..

could be quite cool, although more detail inside the bases is needed. good exterior layout tho.

maybe the underneath bit where the roads meet could be a second crossroad? :)

well of course.. I just ment as a general layout.. not a this is exactly what it looks like.. I mostly just ment like ramps up to the top from the bottom.. and each base is identical..

Hell if I knew more about mapping in HL2 then i do I'd do it my self.. but I only did 1 map for counter-strike.. :S

ah yea, colour channel swap it or sommin :) go for it mate, id like to see the result of a 4 way CTF (if thats what you have in mind?)

could be used by knockout games as starter maps to whittle down numbers of teams ready for classic 2 team CTF

That would make for pretty boring battlements tbh.

suppose the layout was how i described above, so there was two crossroads, one above the other, you could put the entrances on the far corners and battlements over the top

I'm running Firefox 1.0.4 and was able to see the images.

If you're on a slow connection it might take a while, because the images only load when you hover the cursor over the thumbnails. You also have to leave the cursor over the image until it's finished loading before you can see the image.

Thats kinda what i was getting at.. and I thought maybe theres a big door to the "empty" (ie yellow and green) base that closes once the team is filled...
