Newegg.ca not such a good deal

It looks like the people are speaking up about http://www.newegg.ca bad pricing and really bad shipping costs.

I had started a thread on there just before opening about the prices I had seen and compared them to prices on the American site and they were just horrible.

Then tack on that there was no free shipping offers on the same items that the American site had in the deals and the fact that its UPS which is known to charge lots of extras just to get things over the boarder (brokerage fees).

Then on top of all that I still get hit with 13% taxes in my area (not their fault, thats the governments doing)

If I could actually order directly from their site I would end up paying less as long as it doesn't come through UPS. But in general even if I had one of my friends get the item and then ship it upto me I would actually save lots of money.

But as you can see here, people are really ticked and disappointed that Newegg.ca seems like a joke here.

And looking at other threads it looks like newegg.ca is shipping from the US so any Canadian ordering from them is going to get hit with a brokerage fee.

Looks like Newegg didn't do any research about any of this at all.
