This forum needs a happy "best moments" thread!

I'm guessing most have tried something very funny/unusual. Post all these here Pplox?

I was a blue sniper in dropdown, guarding the dropdown chamber. Somehow I managed to believe I was on red, despite team color HUD. There was a red demoman and another blue sniper behind him. I completely ignored the demoman who now spammed grenades at me and went for the sniper. I shot him in the head killing him; he was a spy!

Also blue sniper, this time on Aardvark, next to the boosters leading to red base. I was aiming up at the battlements hoping for some easy kills, when I saw a blue heavy coming out. I figured he was definetly a spy, so I gave him a fully charged shot in the stomach. He died, but not from my shot, the kill icon in the corner showed him as a teammate dead from fall damage. Apparently he hit the round facade, which then sent him downwards, smashing into the ground. When I realized this, I went laughing for several minutes.

I have had a lot of "fun" or "best" moments but my most memorable FF experience came to be a while ago when I was in a full server on Aardvark. It was just a pub game so everyone was pretty chatty and eventually someone started asking people about secrets in FF. tl;dr

I was playing CS 1.6, I was hiding behind the grate on assault. He didn't see me, he came in, looked around for me. Didn't see me. When he looked at me I felt sorry for the guy and I glocked him in the head, then he left.

I remember sniping on dropdown during practice and I headshotted Nukem in mid-conc. Then I proceeded to snipe both him and water out of the air several times. They refused to play until I switched to demo. Then the next day the sniper rifle went back to its normal mode of "OH YOU HIT SO LETS DISPLAY BLOOD MARKS BUT YOU DIDNT REALLY HIT LOL :D!" and then I was all :|

This wasn't me, it was my friend Vulcan on my computer.

He was on Aardvark as a sniper, when the friendly sniper missed and hit him in the back with a fully charges hot. He proceeded to fly to the enemy battlements and kick ass with the auto rifle, grabbing their ammo bags and nading the spawn hall. Eventually he died to two heavys sent out.

Afterwards, some guy said "Oh shit, I should've kept fraps on."

In FF, some of my best moments have been certain achievements in game, such as beating some rather difficult concmaps, or getting some hardcore combos on defense, or concing through tons of enemy defense, and wondering how I got out with their flag. I only have a bit of these moments saved as demos, so I need to convert to AVI format before 2.1 comes out so I can have the vids saved.

Juking enemy soldiers and demos as a scout is always fun. Oh, and a 4v4 pickup against Gator and some others when 2mesa3 classic had just been released we won 50-40. That was hella fun.

My favorite moment was on ff_Palermo, when we were beta testing the jump pad, and you could use a conc in conjunction with it... and go from attack spawn to cap 3 without touching the ground.

And then there was today...

So, me, Gwarsbane, Circ, and a few other guys were in a server. We go to Palermo, and as soon as we lose the final cap... I get kicked. I'm all 'WTF'? and head back in, to see all my teammates coming back in. Apparently, a bug in the server's mods caused the defenders to be kicked whenever the teams switched.

It was great to see it happen to Circ and the other team, though.

Also, Circ damaged my sentry. o:

"I've damaged your sentry, so I'm awesome!"
