oh, and there is a point to this topic besides braggin! i lost FF in the reformat. any full version of 2.0 out there? i clicked the links, but they lead no where. thanks!

Yeah...there was an issue with the FULL installer (one of the files was corrupted) so for now you will need to dl the 1.0 or 1.11 and then use the incremental files to get to 2.0.

New links will be up by the end of the day provided nothing is wrong. Also I left them up b/c I wanted people to come to the forums so that they could figure out what was going on as opposed to just leaving b/c there wasn't a dl for them.

well, in the reformat, the idoit that did (reformat+a bunch of upgrades) it didnt back up my files. if he did, i would have had my GCF's. now i need to re-download everything! the SDK Base, HL2, DM, EP1, BioShock Demo (which i just added today:/) not including all of my HL1 engine games, and all my mod are all gone. all of em. and the map i was working on. it sucks.

ya that blows. I reslate my pcs about every 6 months. But I burn copies of all the important files first. maps all that shit.

yea, i was working on that map for a mod team im a mapper for. luckily, i gave one of my fellow mappers a sorta old copy of it, so i guess i dont have to start all over again :/

well, i would take it as a punishment, but she uses it for email, and apprently hates IE, prolly cuz it's just a tad different, a tad more advanced than PoS AOL. the damn thing has like 5 processes when it runs, which dont shutdown when the program does. I HATE AOL I HOPE THE PROGRAM BURNS!

oh, and she's bitching about every single thing. like the CPU is a TAD louder than the old one (well duh, it's alot newer, what do you think is quieter, a mainframe or a PC, a 2500+ or a 5600+ X2?) and that i downloaded the wrong version of AOL (like there's a difference).

It's pretty much a disappointment if you've already played System Shock 2. Bioshock's basically an inferior game to SS2 in every single respect except graphics.

yea, i know. SS2 is amazing, at least the demo was, lol. i cant ever find the game anywhere, except on eBay for like 50 bucks. and of course the crappy pirated versions that have no pre-rendered videos in it.

but still, bioshock is still prety good, but not as much as SS2
