To all you "FF Is already dead" folks

What are new players going to think when they visit the forums to see these messages floating around? Stop being such negative nancy's and think positive! If you like the game, then play it! Stop waiting for it "die". A mod isnt "dead" untill there is NO more servers, NO more patch releases, and NO more players. As long as there is 2 people playing on a single server, the mod is not dead. I've never had a problem finding a decent game going on. Who cares there isnt 100,000+ servers like the huge mods, i can almost always find 10-15 servers that have people in them and a good game going. Thanks to the whole dev team for a GREAT mod. I'm proud of yall!

I think they do that kind of thread on purpose... i mean, a lot of them where tf2 fanboys or they just claim "i love this game" as if they played since a long time but they have 3 or 4 posts top and all of them criticizing the game

What i tried to explian is that those guys are tf2 fanboys too, although they claim to love this game, look out for their posts in others threads (they are usually few and they are always reciently registered) and you`ll see.

Personally, I accept the general perception people have initially.. you would be worries.. but then.. theres alot of factors out of our control, and some factors we dont have the resources to combat. In the end we'll relie on Valves charity in mentioning the mod.. and filtering down players from TF2. What im happy to do, is give that a shot, meanwhilst we all make our fansites/leagues/clans so theres something there for people. Aslong as we never close the door on the common new player we'll be fine, in time
