How will FF be distributed?
Will it be downloaded via Steam, or a separate download from this site or other mirrors, etc.?

Internet.
Serious Answer: the bigname file sites, torrents, private servers, etc. It will not be downloadable through Steam itself, because it's a mod.

I'm very anxious for FF's release. So i will help superseed the torrents if the staff directs the links or someone(s) in the community puts up link for torrents. I can also put it on emule to help distribute the file, in addition to the superseeding.

AFAIK the beta testers will be given the torrent of the install slightly in advance. A good lot of them have volunteered to seed, including myself. So if you go to download it via torrent (for some reason) you will already have like 10+ people seeding it out.
I doubt they would give the torrent to anyone else in advance who is not a beta tester. Soz.

I will only download it through torrent as I hate fileplanet with a passion, so yeah.

I've never really dealed with torrents, I'm a limewire person myself however I would rather throw my brand new XPS down the stairs than attempt to download another game off fileplanet. Compiling a list of links to the torrents or w/e would be a great idea. I don't want it to be a mad scramble at 12:01 a.m. trying to find a decent source.

As for a torrent program, i'd recommend Azureus or Utorrent. |

The torrent will be released onto a 100% LEGAL TORRENT SITE.
The offical torrent will NOT be released on a popular illegal torrent site. This makes life easier for EVERYONE. |

Other Reasons Include: - It keeps everything nice and easy. There is no need to worry about accidental legal issues. - Public Illegal Trackers are generally heavily watched by people who want to sue you. - Illegal Trackers might be filtered by ISPs. |

One torrent hosted on fortress-forever.com is the only sane idea i can come up with.
Then hypotheticly you could upload that torrent(which you got from fortress-forever.com, ie not making one yourself) to a public tracker and it'd like... ...Get combined or whatevers? |

Uhm, cant you simply make a torrent with one of those torrent programs and like put it in a dir on your webhost and it'd work?
Neway if it doesnt i suggest uploading one on a legal torrent site and linking it stating it is the "official" one so we dont get 500 poorly seeded torrents when that little effort can make a well seeded torrent. |
