Right.
I was on a slimmed down XP for the longest time, that had sleep disabled, forgot how it works. I put 2 .bat files on my desktop so I can disable it when need be, and turn it on again. Here (for people viewing this page from searches): Sleep ON (30min) Code:
C:\Windows\System32\powercfg.exe -change -standby-timeout-ac 30 Code:
C:\Windows\System32\powercfg.exe -change -standby-timeout-ac 0

I've turned mine to never sleep because I was having problems where it'd basically turn my computer off (lights, fans, everything was silent and off), and it wouldn't come back to life all the time, and it was getting to be more of a pain than it was useful.
