lol, i just came on here to say that i was able to pull the files off of my old hard drive from my comp that crashed!! i just had hammer open looking through rock2 and my conc map i was working on.

unfortunately i am using a laptop at the moment so it'll be a lil difficult to work on them. also, i'm not quite sure i have hammer set up correct to compile and what not. i've forgotten alot, but you never forget how to map!

anyway, i've been gone a while(but i did try to keep up with things around here) and i do have more time on my hands than i did before so i will resume working on maps.

lol, i dont remember jack about setting up hammer. the mapping i'll never forget, i've been gone a loooong time, but everyday i thought of maps, and mapping and how to do different stuff.

i had to screw with the gameconfig to get hammer to launch, i'll prob try and get it set up right soon, i mainly wanted to see if my files were ok and if i had the last few that i worked on.

Great news Gambit. Also, maybe you should upload those maps to a hosting site or back them up to a DVD or flash drive so you don't have a heart attack when your hard drive crashes again.

Something I should do... all my files are on one disk... in my 11 years of computing I'm yet to have one crash.... now I've said that of course...

i had actually bought an external HHD before my comp crashed, just never got in the habit of backing up my stuff on it.

bad news guys(and gals), well for me anyway, i have NO LUA files what so ever!!! WTF??? its bad enough that LUA confuses the hell out of me but now i've got to recreate them and match it to the entities in the map(ALL my maps i was working on!!!!).

joy....

um....if anybody reading this has any how to's or notes or information on LUA(that you personally use), ANYTHING, please send it to me.

lol, know what sucks?? i'm off tomm, got all 3 of my kids, 2:00am rolls around and i remember i have ERT training at 6:00am at work and i have to go in!! no sense in sleeping for 2 hours....
