Maybe not 03', and definitely not OFTEN, but since I pretty much gave up TFC which was around freshman\sophmore year of college 04\05.

I remember when the media was only concept art, barely anything at that.

I remember the first screenies and jizzing over them, same with the first sound effect demos in media.

I was definitely around and in the tfc community, and fully aware of FF.

Weee, glad to see congestus is around

So my laptop question comes down to this (I may post in tech too if that is ok?)

I'm wondering whether or not I should splurge a little more for a better graphics card.

I'll most likely only be playing source games until I have enough money to buy a desktop that will run new stuff.

Whats the best low-end integrated card

x3100? radeon hd 3200 780M? nvidia go 7150? Those are all viable options on store purchased laptops

The ebay bids I'm watching are around the same price-range, all have warranties, but the HD and RAM are smaller, HOWEVER offering the Nvidia 8400\8600 line.

Is there a significant enough difference between all those cards? I'm not looking for max settings, 1024 x 780 with a constant 60-80 fps would be great!

Well actually you can get a Desktop that can play Crysis for less then what your paying for the laptop.

Yeah, I made a desktop half a year ago that is capable of playing Crysis on very high for $600. Though I had a monitor already.

I was feeling generous.... so I made a short clip of ff_congestus for you:

ff_congestus

Please note, this was made with 2.0, not 2.1... so no sneak peek there.

That was just a WeGame recording. It automatically encodes the recording for upload to their site.

I used WeGame to record the footage for the following video clip, but didn't use WeGame to encode it. It seems to lose a LOT of resolution using WeGame, but it gets the point across.
