The result of the 'terrorist' attack with the planes was the invasion in Afghanistan, not Iraq. The publicly announced reason for invading Iraq was that supposedly Saddam had WMDs. Nobody labeled the Iraqi population as terrorists to go after.

You're missing the point. I'm not debating Israel's right to exist. I'm against the way that it's been run and positioned politically for the last 50 years. I think it has full right to exist, but not with the righteous nationalism that is mirrored in many countries across the world.

No one can disagree with their ideology or else they are labeled a racist, bigot, or anti-semite. Instead of practicing what Avi notes as a 'living metaphor', they hide behind their religion everytime someone questions their policies. In this instance, Zionism is used as a sheild, rather than a glue to hold citizens together. They leave no one accountable, because any outcry towards the government is met with a stifling uproar of misguided counters implying anti-Jewish tendencies.

It's not perfect, so please don't think it is.
