ha-ha no I had figured already that you knew my situation. I had realised it wasn't about map pack but I DO want to finish it properly some day.

I'm going to say after warpath.. its waited long enough over 3 official maps that will have been finished in its time of making!!

Elmo, for the love of god, please remove that ditch around the flag if you haven't already, or make it a bit wider.

I'd also make it a bit harder for the engy, as I've sat in a PUB as an engy and completely destroyed all the O. Bit too easy to keep a Disp and SG up at all times.

confused.. you did check b8? cause b8 you cant get stuck in like b7?

Also, I don't want to make it harder for the engi, at least in competitive play it's rather easy to take down.

Was b7 when you added the ditch? If so, no I didnt check b8.

Have yet to play this map in a comp play yet.

oh right, well in b8 I tried to make it slightly easier for engi..

I'll have b9 out soon anyway which will have
  • A closed roof (no way of having it open & playing well)
  • Stairs to make concing more predictable/harder when getting out of FR
  • security to close off ramp side and promote using the left V-Ramp rather than only double ramps

don't know why, from b8 it should've only improved during spam. There were no complaints during a match yesterday.

Can any1 else confirm such bad FPS?

Ouch... B10. This map is dead to pubbing imo.

Played it yesterday with about 40 people. This was only possible because folks kept getting frustrated and leaving.

New version encourages sniping because O is much more difficult. Any amount of players over 4v4 is asinine because the difficulty into the FR and Button Room make it very easy to defend. Entire match ended with 3 caps for both sides. The new additions make the map seem closed off to me, and the openness and speed with which you could conc around and cap the flag were what made this map interesting. Now, stick a couple of sgs in the fr and toss a solly by the security door and gg. (This happened btw. Not just a bitch based upon speculation.)

Yeah, I understand your points completely.

I'm well aware of the change in play this has caused from testing in pickups. Previously, competitive play was broken due to the open top so I had to close it off again.

The problem I had made defence easier to compensate for the open top and then put the top back in. I agree the balance needs to be put back a bit and the button side is really frustrating at times...

I do kinda like having security but I need to make things work better... I'll continue to work on this yet.

There are no alternative routes to the flag, the offense gets fed directly to the defense.
