I would agree, I was UGC admin for about a season and a bit, there were flaws with the league its self but it also takes a lot(well not a lot but enough) to organize everything for the week, and to me it seemed almost like most weeks it was all gone to waste cause half the teams wouldn't have enough players.

Anyone who wants to start a league all the power to em, I wish you luck. However I would say until you can get enough for 12 teams ( 4 would probably drop out in no time) it would be waste of your time.

You may have enough people for 3 teams but can they all play on one night at a certain time. That is the hardest thing.

hopefully after the holidays, 2.42 will be released, we can get an influx of players and once again have a league started.

Yo, I'm a dude who just started playing TF2 about a month ago, played TFC for years (my name used to be VeNoM I think).

I think we could put a league together. I mean really, I played this other crappy mod called The Battle Grounds and they have like a 6 team league. We should be able to get something going on.

Then again, I'm currently downloading FF so I have no idea how active (or inactive) FF really is :P.

Btw, did the Catacombs fold?

From running the FF.PL for a season and a bit, this is what I learned: People just need to play their matches. Play all of your matches and leagues will be able to exist indefinitely. Any forfeits contribute to a never-ending cycle that will always lead to a league failing.

That is all.

Main problem, is the lack of dudes around its basicly you look at the tables and teams and you know who gonna win from the begining.

I miss playing maps in the league like siden, stowaway and ofire. We should definitely get a league back up and going, especially with a new version of FF coming out. We need as many reasons as possible to keep people playing. Starting a league I think is one of those reasons.

I would get Ostrich out of WOW, 50 out of some other MMORPG, Motivate Credge to play with us, Moya down for sure, I lost rockwell to marriage, Bostwix is my bitch, need to find out whats up with Clowneh, I'll try to get partial as well, get the stoners to sober up (reaper, sticky fingers, luudes) get rodox modivate to play ff, get our sniper back...The KING (he is so good is not even funny using him in a match lol) Frogger our friendly pyro down for sure, Buy windows 7 for Buckshot, and that is all the people I can remember at the top of my head, but there is more I can get back.

I done it in the past, I get people back who stopped playing FF...except those who got married.

Leagues were the main reason most people played the game a couple of years ago tbh. The games a pickup/league game.. lets face it. If we have a steady league, more and more people will come back to ff but no one wants to play a dead game with 4 clans. If this game had an active league i know ide be more excited to play it. Its human nature to be drawn to competition. Maybe start out with a 2v league to spark some attention?
