FF team this is probably somthing one should do. ya know those resources we have to promote the game. (moddb, facebook, steam, twitter, etc...) we should probably post the thank you post on those places as well as a couple of pictures from FF like the one. so people know we are still kicking.

Happy belated birthday FF!

Easily one of my favorite multiplayer games of all time. When I first downloaded the mod I figured I would just mess around with a dead game and get bored pretty quickly and uninstall within a week... little did I know the degree to which I eventually got sucked in...

Keep up the good work as always, and congratulations.

Congrats too everyone. I have, and always will find it amazing that a group of gamers got togther and built something so brilliant, what an achievement!

I do you remember the launch of FF and it being in the top 3 most popular game for the upcoming weeks, such a shame it died down.

Then again, its been 5 years since the launch of FF and probably safe to say 10 years since TFC started serious decline [after WOW/UKTFCL bug]

Hope to see you in the gaming world in the future [although nothing will compare to FF]!

This isn't a thing you can have an opinion on. Scuzzy and the O-T clan have helped tremendously in the development of FF. They ran the beta server from pre-release until July 2010, among other things.

Yeah but I think some people look at it more like the O-T community caused more harm than good, even though they did in-fact do some good.

I'm inclined to believe that despite their strict rules, they did continue to bring people into this community, especially when there were no other servers available to play on.

Now that there are more options such as my SFC server, Ricey's Official FF server, Talos and even O-T again, that gives people a variety that wasn't previously available over the past year or so, so we should be focusing on that fact rather than continue to ostracize them from this community.
