I live in ReykjavÃ*k, Iceland. It basically sucks to live here I'd say (many would disagree). While we do have ruthlessly low amounts of crime here (murder every two years I think, although increasing because of drugs) everything is overpriced far too high. We generally work too much for too little to survive here and there's a pretty huge gap between people with money and others.

I guess being a tourist here is alright, if you can afford it. Since we got this nature thing down and apparantly our babes are loose and will sleep with any idiot... oh, how I love rumors . But seriously, we do have fine women and lots of drinking.

There is no such thing as the Nottingham twang. It's an Eddie Izzard joke.

Minnesota here, suburb north of minneapolis.

National sports center is right by my house, lotsa soccer there. Not a soccer fan, so I dont go there much unless something else is going on. Vikings (american football team) suck, well they have sucked, hopefully will play better this year... but they are going to be building their new stadium 10 minute walk from my house. Itll be an open dome so ill hear it and stuff.

Mall of america..... huuuuuge mall, absolutely huuuuuuge. "
This cement-and-plastic Bloomington behemoth is the largest shopping and entertainment complex in the United States. At 4.2-million square feet, it's the size of seven Yankee Stadiums and home to more than 500 stores, 60 eateries, a 14-screen movie theater, an indoor amusement park and an aquarium. You can also find strollers, wheelchairs, changing stations in restrooms, lockers, a wedding chapel, walking program, post office and more."
Its nothing special, just really fat ass. I shop there all the time, it becomes a chore after a while.

We're the land of 10,000 lakes.... we have lakes everywhere. EVERYWHERE. Everyone has a cabin on a lake. Fishing is HUUUGE here since the Mississippi originates here and we have so many lakes and a lot of our border is against lake Superior. Water activities are huge. Although id trade it all for an Ocean .

Otherwise yeah, its freakin cold here, no outstanding ski resorts or anything. People come here and say its beautiful, but I couldnt tell ya, its pretty bland to me. I wish I lived in Europe somewhere like the most of you Particularily Iceland...

Im from portland oregon. I love it there, lots of drugs about if your into that sort of thing. Other then that the music seen is great. You can go out any night of the week and see some great bands. The bars rock too. Theres camping and fishing and hikeing if your into that. Iv been all over the world and I cant think of any place I would rather live

Nevada is cool though, Im heading down to reno for work in a few weeks. Sand mountan rocks when there are alot of people there. I checked out one of the places they tested a nuke at... it was not very impresive for the 1 hour drive I had to make. Also me and my co workers trashed the hell out of a rental van that the company paid for. The bumper was not with us when we got back... they whent too happy about that. Just a bunch of rocks and a posting about not eating any freashly turned soil, lol No joke. I hear there are alot of mine shafts to crawl around in and die of poison gas.. thats something. That one place inside circus circus has some good sushi too. Also you can have open beers in the car! my favorite thing about Nevada!

Let me know if you'd like to know some better local places for Sushi in the Reno/Sparks area....assuming we have similar tastes...I am not into the bait sushi (raw) but I love the cooked stuff...I can certainly give you some suggestions. PM me if you like.

Avoid Earlham/dereham road after 10:30 at night and the worst you should see is a wandering yokel, they are harmless and have their own language.

Also watch out for a man who walks around Norwich constantly saying his car has ran out of petrol and he hasnt got any money to get help/petrol..hes approached me with the same storey many a time.

However most of norfolk is quite nice, its pretty much all the same and its reasonably pretty, avoid great yarmouth. Quite alot to do if you like walking, english beaches..people are pretty friendly generally, and although norfolk has the image of being a bit inbred, its not that bad really,

Basically ive rambled to try and point out that norwich/norfolk has its bad points, but its outweighed by the good, plenty of places to go sailing/boating/fishing/walking.. anything of that ilk, and its quite scenic, local news is funny - we once had a news peice on a man who thought he found an unexploded bomb in his farm yard, so as you do he pressed the big button on it, AFTER doing this he thought he better not release the button..so he called the bomb squad while holding this bomb trigger in...... basically he had to sit with his hand and this bomb buried in sand for three hours, till in the end the bomb squad came and told him that iit was a part that had fell off his tractor. Made me laugh anyway

But cambridge is nice just down the way

Orlando, Florida.

It's the number one tourist destination in the world. Unfortunately. Come, spend your money, and GO HOME. Do not relocate here.

-Simma.

P.S. No Mervaka, I am not saying it is the number 1 tourist destination in the world because America is the center of the universe. It's a fact.
