Haste Bridge
So, when the bridge is lowered, (security off), the bridge is smooth, no problems walking or bhopping on it, but when it is up(security on), at the top of the bridge it force crouch to get stuck.
I've redone the bridge a few times and it always happens, even when doing basic brush work. The bridge is lowered in hammer.

I used to have similar stuff while mapping for cs. Copy the whole map and paste it in a new vmf and see if it works, ricen3wb.

Squeek suggested that I do a func_brush with toggle solidity on it, it works fine when the bridge is closed, which was causing the problem, but it does not disable when open.

ricey
so you made 2 Func_brushes set to toggle solitidy, one for the bridge down and one for bridge up, and set the button to toggle them? Its kinda unclear.

No,
The toggle solidity brush is in the 'closed' position, so when the player runs on it, it doesnt make them get stuck in crouch. When the bridge lowers, 'open', it's suppose to disable it's self. Which is does not.

If you're gonna toggle solidity you should def use 2 bridges, one in the 'on or down' position and one in the 'off and up' position then set up the logic of the button to say which bridge is activated.
Down side is you may not get the actual raising/lowering of the bridge but you may be able to do that w/timer delays. dunno, have to fuck with it to see. |

There is also another haste map for FF that DOES work properly, so you might also see how the bridge is setup differently than on your map.
