EuroPickups hosting AvD's???

I'm thinking AvD's or any of the other two types of gamemodes introduced in 2.4 (maps are really fucking good btw) would be a good way to have more public players attend pickups. I think AvD (or Attack Defend) is intuitively easier for any pubplayer to grasp than the execution of playing ctf properly; that is, whithout the midmap sniper... That doesn't mean we'd only do AvD's or that they even would be the majority, just that a few would suffice.

AvD is fun gametype, but usually takes more preparation time to gather up the number of players.

I was apart of the beta for 2.2-2.3 and i too agree that the AvD/ADZ maps are very fun maps/gametypes. Perhaps a few weeks/month after 2.4 release to allow new players and the general public scene (the ones who have never done organized pickups via mIRC) to get the feel/grasp of the newly installed maps/gametypes.

By allowing *some time* i think would be best for the new players. Not just the everyday pickupper to have more fun and less yelling by certain assholes who cannot contain themselves over a game.
