wii games
My wife and I got a nintendo wii. Someone recommend a good first person shooter. There is a resident evil for the wii, has anyone tried that game? I would like something along the lines of doom. There is a modification for the wii to be able to play doom on the wii, but I do not have the stuff to install it right now.
There is a zelda for the wii, but I want something with a little action. So how about a good hack and slash, shoot em up game with lots of gore. |

Resident Evil 4 is good.
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is good, if you like House of the Dead style shooters, and it has a shitton of replayability (and multiplayer capacity, if you feel like tricking the wife). As for hack'n'slashes, I hear that No More Heroes is good, but I haven't played it myself. |

Yeah No more Heroes is a very unique and stylish game. The combat and story are both fun and interesting. But the game can get very repetitive sometimes.
I cannot think of any really good FPS games that wouldnt be better on a different console, but like he said games like Umbrella Chronicles are good on rail shooters. |

Thx guys.
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles stays sold out at the local store. They will get a shipment in and a few hours later they are all gone. Just like the wii's. Valve software was supposed to port half-life or half-life 2 over to the wii, but it has not happened yet. The interview was in February of 2008 - http://www.itwire.com/content/view/16870/532/ Quote:

My kids got a Wii for christmas and i'm currently hooked on TigerWoods PGA Tour 09. You could consider it a hack and slash I suppose but not in the usual sense.

COD5 is a fantastic FPS game for all consoles. If you don't have it, you should definitely read some reviews/watch videos.

Ragging Rabbits is pretty sweet..............
It is a party game about a group of female rabbits who go nuts when Aunt flow comes to town. It does have plenty of gore and blood but it just doesnt feel the same when it is premenstral gore coming out *barf*.
Anywhos there really is a good game I would say out there for the Wii yet to meet those spec's. Even the Resdient Evil titles were just okay. How about Manhunt 3 for the Wii where you can use your remote to hack, slash, stab, suffocate, drow, bash, maul and destroy the enemies???? dh
