Who will be gone for the holidays?

I made this thread in the beta forum a while ago as it has relevance there. Here, not so much. However, it might spark some decent conversation and get us closer together as a community.

So, who won't be around all that much for the holidays? Not going to be in town? Will have a computer but won't be able to play FF? Making a new years resolution to quit playing video games and use that time to do more important things like... paint pictures? Tell us what you'll be doing, if anything! Even if you suck as a person and won't be traveling (because anybody that doesn't travel during the holidays must suck as a person... it's a rule), tell us that you'll be sticking around.

I'll be gone from tomorrow to the 10th. Or 11th. Or 12th. WHO KNOWS! It's a wild, wild world out there.

My "holidays" consists of 3-4 hours at the grandparents' house for inter-nuclear-family gift-giving, merry-making, and turkey-gorging. That's the nice thing about living in reasonably close proximity to 80% of your living family.

I'll be going to Pennsylvania on the 25th with my dad. Not sure where though, but it's gonna be cold as fuck.

On the contrary. There are two types of people who don't travel for the holidays, and they are polar opposites at the extreme ends of the peopelscale. The people who suck, and the people who are so awesome everyone comes to them. :P

I'll be around. My immediate family is all local to me. I'm taking the next 12 days off to spend with my son. Our major goal is to build every Lego kit he has that's unbuilt. Including the 1500+ piece kits... Should be interesting...

Around 90% of our relatively close outer family (I say relatively close because my Grandmother was one of twelve kids) lives 10 minuets away as well, so probably just gonna be home for the holidays.

But yeah, kickin it at home this year, 'cause I'm traveling like mad on my own the next 3 or 4 years and I won't be home for Christmasses.
