Water effects
For some reason, the glimmer on my water appears purple. any ideas on how to fix this? (sorry for posting so many questions. eventually, ill stop)

put an env_cubemap just above the water. launch map in hl2, type in console "buildcubemaps".
or just use another water shader. |

You have leak in your map. 1 tiny leak screws the whole map up cause the engine cannot figure out what's in and what's out.

With this problem, it's more often solved with buildcubemaps rather than a leak.
If buildcubemaps fails, then yes, it's probablyt a leak. It's more likely a cubemap issue though. |
