Well we all know that 2.1 comes out at the end of the week. What, I ask you, is the biggest thing about 2.1? 2fort. What map is UGC playing this week? blis_2fort. UGC, obviously, had no idea that 2.1 was going to come out right after a match on blis_2fort but there is a handy rule that can be used for one situation such as this:

btw, dropdown has a couple of changes too. Gameplay changes, optimizations, etc. I don't know about leagues schedules or anything but it might be a good idea to play a map that won't change with 2.1 like ofire or something... just so you guys can enjoy the improved dropdown. Just my 2 cents, you do as you please. Just wanted to drop the info in here. Maybe the game has already been played for all I know.

That's not for you to decide. The leaders have already voted and ff_2fort does not fit for competitive gameplay. It had been discussed already, period.

blis... its more suited to competive play... theres for freedom in the map instead of the easy easy pub nature of the map that would allow for a very easy defencive shutout... its still pretty easy for d on this map but it gives the offy some chance

I actually think the new 2fort will be more suitable as a league map than blis. Blis is fancy and all, but it's just not laid out right.

So how is it fair to discus something that hasn't been released? Also last time I checked Any leader could start a poll to add or change rules this would include maps. I don't believe all the leaders are beta testers it could bring a different outcome with the release of 2.1. I don't see why we couldn't run both. Except for the fact the O will hate the official version because it has more hang ups which will make it harder to keep the speed up.
