He has a major impact on the gaming world. This is covered on pretty much every news source out there. Not an obsession its just almost like an extra birthday knowing he is most likely going to lose his ability to in the future try and get every game a M rating.

The temptation to start a response thread called:
"Etzell - Doesn't Give a Fuck" and have Skanky move all appropriate threads to it is overwhelming. Though we'd then have to move roughly 75% of the threads that get made.

Seriously, though, who cares? He doesn't do anything that has any weight. So he likes to yell a lot, there are bigger douchebags who have lots more influence on people than he does that you should waste your energy hating.

I laughed at that. Howard Stern's influence diminished? He's still like THE biggest name in radio, and now that he's on Sirius he can anything he wants now. He's the main reason Sirius is doing so well. This guy doesn't have a clue.

He's actually provided the gaming industry with more positive impact than negative impact.

Why? Because the gaming industry is fighting back, becoming ever more passionate about their beliefs, and causing people like him to look like a nut job.

We need a Jack Thompson in this world so the media can ear their cameras towards this bastard instead of to violent video games.
