Warez Forums hit the dust?

First off, Warez Forums are the total SCUM of the earth.

Those of you who don't know what these forums are, they are basically forums where people upload "warez" to some stupid site like rapid share and post links. Not only are the people 100% morons, but they truly think they are both very smart and very very cool. A topical "problem" post will me along the lines of:

But back to the topic: I used to randomly drop in a few random sites just for the hell of it. I've noticed that many have disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Has anyone else noticed this?
Can anyone else share stupid things they have read in such forums? They are normally funny as hell...

Most of the good warez scene went back down into the underground , the rest is just bullshit.

Yeah, most of the above ground shit is just that, shit. Only one I know of that did very well, and that got shaky even. This was back when you could use Grims on Geocities and find tons of open FTPs to upload files to.

I used to own a Warez BBS a couple years ago and that's where I met 2 of my now ex-girlfriends cause we used to do GTGs... moral of the story, chicks dig illegal stuff.

For you pervs, 1 was really hot (I know it's weird cause you think chicks using warez bbs cant be hot but that's where you are wrong) and the other was normal.

Ahh good times, good times...

There hasn't been a good true warez site since the broadband era. There is still one very good one that I've used since the 90s and somehow has never been shut down or disappointed me. The broadband era changed the way we share files making web based downloads a thing of the past.
