HL1 Original Maps

Hey, i know this is exactly FF related, but maybe i can find some help here. I want to edit the maps from the original HL1, but i can not seem to find them anywhere. They don't show up in my maps folder, and i am not sure where else to look for them. Even googling around the net has not produced results. So if anybody can help me, i would greatly appreciate it.

go and grab yourself a copy of GCFscape and browse into your SteamApps folder, open up the file "Half-Life.gcf" and extract the folder containing the maps to a folder somewhere on your drive (preferably one you'll remember ). Now go and find yourself a copy of the program BSPtwoMAP, if it comes in a .zip file extract the files to the same folder as all your Half-Life maps. To decompile the BSP files from half-life, drag them onto the BSPtwoMAP file and wait until it finished up. Load the .MAP files with hammer, and convert them to VMF by resaving them. You know have a rough copy of any of the original half-life maps. Go over the map, recreating the basic brushwork only, (eg: visblocking) and delete all of the brushes from the decomplile. Make pretty, and enjoy.

PS: I DO NOT condone the stealing of maps using this method!!!
PPS: That is all by memory, a little bit might be slightly off but it should be pretty much exact.

EDIT: Im faster than DocWolfe

download the HL1 SDK... they have a couple of sample maps in, you wouldn't be able to edit the .bsps straight out of the game folder anyway as you would need to decompile them first. The reason you can't find them in the map folder is because they are packed up in the GCF files, you need to download GCFScape.
