Texture Browse Menu not coming up???
I just get started on my new map and alas the Hammer god strikes me down:
When I open any map and choose my block tool (or any tool) and click on the browse button I cannot see the texture browse menu it's up because hammer won't let me do anything until I hit escape but I cannot see the textures or anything. Do I have a setting wrong or should I just re-install hammer to get it back to default? I have tried: Exiting completely and coming back ing Restarting my comp re configuring my FF configs in hammer To no avail .. the only thing I have not done is uninstall and reinstall sourse SDK |

yea, it might b a second monitor/TV rpoblem. Check to c if your graphics are set up with a secondary monitor. I know sometimes when i try to open something, especially in hammer, it comes up on my second screen, so i flip my tv on, drag it over, and turn off my tv. And if its not hooked up to a second monitor/TV, then change the settings so it dosent run on one.
EDIT: u fixed it

multi screen setups and hammer can sometimes be annoying if for some reason you move the right screen to the left side, and all apps move with it, but hammer doesn't :S so move the screen back and see if the hammer window is there.
(by moving the screens i mean move it with the properties window of your desktop, not move it physically ) |
