Demonoid blocks all Canadian traffic.

Well, it turns out that while they were not raided, they were threatened with legal action by the CRIA (an organization that represents the RIAA in Canada, where the site's servers are located.)

Either way, the site is back. Sucks for Canadian users, though.

Poor Canadians psh we Americans got blocked from Torrentspy and ISO Hunt. But I have to admit I'd much rather have Demonoid.

Yea, Demonoid is the best torrent site. The reason so is the reason it's behind The Pirate Bay- you have to be registered, and registrations are only opened every couple of months for a VERY short time.

But there are advantages to not having an account. All the torrents listed are usually valid and no bs. But having an account is good too
