Problem with FortressForever.exe
I downloaded the file, and attempted to install it, but i got an error, saying it was corrupt, and it wouldnt let me complete installation.
I had the same error, for the server files also, but when i changed it to .rar format i could access it. So server files are fine now, but i still cant run the exe. Is there any suggestions on what i can do? |

Usually that means that the file you downloaded was corrupted during the download process. Start by redownloading the file.
Your hard drive might also be physically damaged. To run a proper Checkdisk (i.e. XP's version of Scandisk), do the following: 1) Go to the Start Menu and click on Run. 2) Type in command 3) A black box will pop up. When it finishes loading, you will be able to type in the box. Type in chkdsk /f 4) It will say something about the volume being in use and if you would like to run Checkdisk during the next system restart. Type in y and it will say that a Checkdisk will be run the next time the computer starts up. Type in exit to close out the black box. 5) Restart your computer, let Checkdisk run. 6) Try to reinstall.

Yes i just redownloaded from a different link, and it worked.
It installed properly, but now it doesnt run when i click on the desktop icon, which i think is because i dont have Half-Life 2 yet. |
