My mother found a career in Wal-Mart. She became an assistant manager after 20 years and was making some big bucks. But they repositioned her in a badly run Wal-Mart where none of the workers wanted to actually "work" and the manager didn't do shit. It got so bad that all the assistant managers of the Wal-Mart quit, your supposed to have 6 assistant managers, this one had 3 when she got there. Now ... it has none! I believe the Wal-Mart is actually closed down currently.

She now works for a cosmetics retail company with the same position, but more $$$.
