Wont start up, but it has before, plus sounds

Every other steam game works. Yesterday i was playing this game and ir was working fine. After about an 1-2 hours of play, it froze, and i quit by cntrl alt delete. The next time i tried to start it up, and every other time since, it will go full screen black, then the medium window blank, and then go back to desktop. When it does this it makes the same sound it makes when u disconnect and reconnect a mouse/hardrive/mp3 player/ etc. I deleted those sound files, i disabled community, i tried running SDK base, which does the same problem as this. WTF? i was playing it yesterday fine. Can anyone offer help or suggestions?

Try deleting the FF folder and re-installing.
