Therein lies the rub and it's a question that can have nothing but speculation and theory for it's answer at present. I suspect that, for every person on this message board, it is a question we will not see answered from the scientific community within the span of our lives.

scuzzy, i dont know how to say this, no. that is agnostic that is open to all options including deities. athiest take everything on the table besides deities, the only reason i avoided say this earlier is because i didnt want to get bashed about not believing in god since im athiest, by UbEr, like he loves to do.

i believe in the end all this questioning is just trying to point towards god and jesus claiming their existance, I hope this is not your intention, but its been feeling that way. you cannot sway my belief don't take for granted i was raised orthodox, passivly of course. and around 10th grade, i was hardcore about religion, i would rebuttal to anyones doubt in jesus. then i decided to listen to peoples views instead of casting them off as rubbish. which over the past years ive been on the fence until about last year where i without a doubt do not believe in a god. after strong thought and consideration about the topic.

...

please lets not judge anyone on these boards based on their belief, I apologize my views on the creation of existence, and religion do not coincide with your views.

what I am stating is to discuss religion is completely ok with me, I enjoy discussing views about how we came into existance, I feel defensive because it is only text .I can interpret posts differently then truly intended, when said vocally.

With this said whether or not the end goal is to prove my view of atheism wrong, I feel is not what should be getting discussed. I am sure many people on these boards would feel delighted to hear after strong debate I converted to the better belief, but we are no here to convert peoples views, merely to discuss.

You've really not got this punctuation and grammar business down at all. 8/10 for effort though.

It's one of the things that makes your posts so difficult to read. Your English is terrible.

The reason I didn't comment on the content of your post is that there's nothing to say. You didn't make any points. Just a lot of self-indulgent drivel.

I agree, which is why, either on this planet or somewhere else, life must have begun by accident and developed into cellular and eventually into higher life forms.... right?

Right, but I would say by chance, rather than by accident.

The problem, however, with saying that just by chance life came to be, we have to look at what exactly the chances are that such a universe came exist such that it was habitable for life. If we take the opinion that we are simply coincidental to the universe--that there was no intention on creating life (i.e. accidental existence)--it raises the question of what the probability of this is. The natural laws are so fine tuned to suit the ability of life, that if they were to change them just slightly, life would not be able to come to fruition. And then there's the cosmological constant, that is so precise that even just a tiny change in the fraction, life could not exist. So this again raises many question.

And this is exactly what the movie I posted addresses. Please watch it!

based on one view. Although they make very good points about how existance began, most of these multiverse theories are just theories. As they stated in the video, it would explain why we were able to exist, how if life failed in one universe it is possible it thrives in another making life not as rare. one thing I have always wondered about with the universe is what makes a black hole work? yes black holes are formed by stars collapsing in on itself, but considering what we know, why do they have such a pull and disslve matter into itself?

Wow Loader, stop; you can't simply say such short sarcastic phrases when discussing such a serious topic with our old timer friend Scuzzy, he will immediatley rip your mere sarcastic comments apart with some long drawn-out essay. This essay will most likely contain contradictions or false statements in a weak attempt to prove himself right, and hopefully degrade the other forum members involved in the rant.

You are a silly person Loader, gaawh!

It's just a theory. What a great argument.

And, of course, it's gravity that makes a black hole work.
